Lois Colin
Lois has performed with world-renowned artists such as Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, Astrid Gilberto, Petula Clark, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Woody Shaw, and Tom Harrell to name a few. In addition, she has played with classical orchestras and chamber ensembles such as the New York City Ballet Orchestra, the Institute for Advanced Musical Studies in Switzerland, the Festival of Two Worlds in Spolieto, Italy, the Orchestra de Camera in Venice, Italy, the Orchestral Society of Westchester, the Filarmonica de Caracas in Venezuela.
As a studio musician, she has recorded for films, television commercials and recordings in North and South America. She has performed at many of the major hotels around the world such as the Plaza Hotel in New York City, the Princess Hotel in Bermuda, the Dorado Hotel in Puerto Rico and the Palace Hotel in Tokyo.
During her years of travel and performance on the Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Viking Sun and the Crystal Cruise Ships, Lois was inspired to record three CD’s and arrange two books for Pedal and Lever Harp.
